It was a beautiful day today. My love, Dante, has accepted my marriage proposal. It is hard to believe what excitement I am experiencing. Now I completely understand my father’s words when he told me that I would know true love when I felt like I had won a war. True love. . .Dante. She is my true love, I am sure of it.
There is no other for me, I tell my companions. She is the perfect human, a creation of God, just for myself. Mine. . .and mine alone.

P r e f a c e -- I cannot exactly put my finger on how it felt. It was amazing at first; it was as if I was breaking all the rules. Like I was God. It felt good. But sadly, everything that special has to come to an end. It was an abrupt, shocking end for me. Everything soon became terrifying. I was in a haze from the real reality, that much I knew. I was trapped, locked away from the real memories I wanted to grasp. It was mentally terrifying. Screams were heard. Thoughts of death, suicide, murder. Laughs and giggles.
